Call for Board Members

Are you interested in leadership opportunities to promote networking and the exchange of ideas among public servants, students, and academics in Southern Vancouver Island? Then we look forward to you putting forward your name as a candidate for the Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Administration Victoria’s (IPAC-Victoria’s) Board of Directors at our upcoming Annual General Meeting in October.

 

We are looking for new ideas and perspectives and, hence, are putting out this call for Board members. This includes the chair position as well as directors-at-large.

 

As a Board member, you would have an opportunity to shape the agenda for IPAC-Victoria in the upcoming 2024-25 year. This includes organizing and promoting online and in-person events for networking and exchange of ideas, contributing to the newsletter and other communications material, fundraising, as well as building relationships in the community with sponsors and partners.

 

As a Board member, you would attend regular meetings of the Board of Directors, participate in sub-committees, and help promote networking and ideas exchange among public servants.

 

If you are a public administration student, academic, or a public servant working for an Indigenous government, municipal government, the provincial government, or the federal government, we invite you to apply. You will have to be a member in good standing of IPAC-Victoria ahead of the Annual General Meeting. You can become a member here.
